Please Continue to Wear Your Masks!

Though we are moving forward in operation and welcoming students and staff back to campus and the DMC studio, we are still requiring the use of face masks in order to keep ourselves safe and healthy! Please come prepared and ensure that everyone in your group is also prepared.

The University is no longer requiring:

Extended physical distancing, Capacity limitations, and Attestations before building entry.
Please keep in mind that masks are mandated per the emergency mandate and will be required in all WWU indoor spaces, regardless of vaccination status.

Welcome To The DMC!

We are the Digital Media Center of Western Washington University and the newest section of the Teaching and Learning Commons in Western Libraries. Here in the DMC, students and faculty can utilize our space for free and outside clients can utilize our services (such as broadcasting) for a price. Deran Browne leads the DMC student staff and is a friendly face to see in the libraries! Feel free to e-mail Deran to schedule tours, open houses, classes and more!

Center for Instructional Innovation & Assessment

The Center for Instructional Innovation and Assessment is also known as the Center for Instructional Advancement and Learning. This department is present in many ways through technical, administrative and instructional areas.

Connect to ATUS and DMC videos to learn how to operate the zoom platform.

Student Technology Center (STC)

Western’s Student Tech Center is located in on the second floor of Haggard Hall and provides students with fundamental and advanced skills, equipment, and software to aid in different modalities of learning. The STC is staffed by students and offers peer-to-peer assitance.

COVID-19

Please be aware that there are strict guidelines and protocols for the uses of campus buildings and equipment. Go to the DMC COVID-19 page for more information.

WWU VAX Facts

Western’s Dr. David Hansen, Western’s Associate Medical Director, will address common questions or misconceptions here each day. Have a question for Dr. Hansen? Email it to vaxfax@wwu.edu, and don’t forget to review Western’s existing vaccine FAQ on its coronavirus website.

Are You Planning to Be On Campus?

For Fall 2021, Western is requiring all of its students and employees to be fully vaccinated. All Western students need to provide their vaccination records to the Student Health Center via the MyWesternHealth portal before the start of fall quarter and employees need to submit their vaccination records to Human Resources in the same time frame.
